At OutBoardSource, we are committed to providing safe, secure, and timely delivery of all outboard motors and marine products across Australia, Oceania, and selected international destinations. Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing your order.


Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Custom, backordered, or special-order products may require additional handling time.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • Customers will receive an order confirmation email once the order has been successfully placed.


Order Cut-Off Time

Orders placed before 2:00 PM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) from Monday to Friday are processed the same business day. Orders placed after the cut-off time, on weekends, or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.


Handling Time

Handling and preparation time for outboard motor orders is typically:

  • 1–3 business days for in-stock products
  • 3–7 business days for special orders or large freight items

During peak seasons or promotional periods, handling times may be slightly extended.


Transit Time

Estimated shipping transit times within Australia are:

  • Metro Areas: 2–7 business days
  • Regional Areas: 5–10 business days
  • Remote Areas: 7–14 business days

Transit times may vary depending on the courier, destination, weather conditions, and freight availability.

Oceania (International Shipping)

Flat rate shipping: AUD $850 per order

  2. Take clear photos of the package and product.

  3. Contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report shipping damage within the required timeframe may affect claim eligibility.


Freight Delivery Conditions

Large outboard motors and oversized marine equipment may be shipped via freight delivery.

Freight delivery conditions include:

  • Delivery to curbside or accessible commercial address only

  • Customer must ensure delivery access for large vehicles

  • Re-delivery fees may apply if delivery cannot be completed

  • Liftgate services may not be available in all locations

  • Some remote areas may require depot collection

Customers are responsible for:

  • Inspecting freight items upon delivery

  • Reporting visible freight damage before signing

  • Ensuring someone is available to receive the shipment


Signature Requirements

For security purposes:

  • Signature confirmation is required for most orders.

  • High-value shipments may require:

    • Adult signature confirmation

    • Government-issued identification

    • Business delivery verification

Orders cannot be left unattended unless authorized by the customer and carrier.


Customs Duties & Taxes (Oceania & International Orders)

International customers are responsible for:

  • Import duties

  • Customs clearance fees

  • VAT/GST

  • Local taxes

  • Brokerage fees

For Oceania countries outside Australia:

  • Customs processing times vary by country.

  • Delays caused by customs authorities are outside our control.

We recommend customers contact their local customs office before ordering to understand potential import charges.


Shipping Restrictions

We currently do not ship to:

  • Sanctioned or restricted countries

  • Military zones

  • PO Boxes for oversized freight items

  • Certain remote islands or inaccessible regions
