SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Outboard Source. The following terms and conditions constitute our Shipping Policy. We currently ship to addresses within the United States (excluding P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses for large items).

1. Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, we will notify you via email of any expected delays.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

    • Small Engines & Parts: Shipped via UPS or FedEx. Transit time: 3–7 business days.

    • Large Outboard Motors (Freight): Shipped via R&L Carriers or SAIA. Transit time: 5–10 business days.

    • Flat Rate: We charge a flat rate of $150 for all freight motor deliveries within the lower 48 states.

    • Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

    • Carriers: FedEx, UPS

    • Cost: [e.g., Free for orders over $1000, otherwise flat rate of $150]

3. Curbside Delivery & Liftgate Service

For Freight shipments, standard delivery is Curbside Only. This means the driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the end of your driveway. They are not authorized to move the motor into your garage or backyard.

  • Liftgate Service: Included free of charge for residential deliveries.

  • Inspection: Please inspect the packaging before signing the delivery receipt. If you see visible damage to the crate or box, note “DAMAGED” on the receipt or refuse the shipment.

4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

5. Damages

Outboard Source is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. However, we are here to help you file a claim.

  • If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

  • Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

  • Critical: “If your order arrives damaged, please document the damage with the carrier and contact us immediately at info@outboardsource.com. We will handle the claim process and ensure you receive a replacement or a full refund. assist you with the claim.
